Voted yesterday for Tom Dannan yesterday and took my old negatives I took with a disposable camera in August 1987 in Paris, France to have developed by owner Egan Del of his own Annandale Photo & Camera shop to be made into photos for me of precious moments of my past etching at Atelier 17, 10 rue Didot, 75014, Paris, France. Hurry and get Tongan Del to make copies of negatives as he is one of the very last stores doing this, and plans to close soon!

Made it just in time! I am hoping to get a call today from owner @EganDel of his store in Annandale @AnnandalePhotoAndCamera at 7044 Columbia Pike, Annandale, VA 22003, tel 703-750-2501 annandalephoto@gmail.com. Egan and I had a heart-to-heart conversation of negatives and getting them made into photos. Egan taught me a whole lot about the history and what has happened to bring the whole business of using a camera and film to make negatives then photos . The business of cameras and films is like that of dinosaurs - virtually extinct! SO: if you have old negatives that you want to have photos made from, especially old negatives like mine from August 1987, get them to Egan ASAP so he can do that before he closes shop. Egan has one of the very last stores open doing this, unlike CVS that will take the negatives and have them made into photos and get them back in thirty days! No more one-hour prints ready for you to pick up. That ended in 2008 , according to Egan, and Covid put the final nail into the coffin to seal it and most all stores doing this closed then , leaving Egan one of the very last menbstanding. SO : if you have previous memories in negatives, especially the old ones , half the suze of those today, get them to Egan now! SMALL businesses need our help to stay alive.
