I WANT TO GIVE A SHOUT - OUT to ROGER , one of the owners of Ripple Restaurant. I saw him outside his restaurant the other morning with his watering can. He was watering his beautiful parched flowers by the side curb. Beautiful - radiant - bright - intense CADMIUM COLORS to draw the sun's attention, as well as ours , and all the myriad bug and bee population that is Cleveland Park. I stopped to chat briefly with Roger and complement him on this, but to say that I LOVED the two wheel barrels filled with all the glory of the herbs at our disposal, and that grow well here : all on prominent display for all us to see and touch with our eyes, have them touch us , too ,,, and perhaps even the few daring us to touch them quickly so as to release the profusion - abundance of fragrances and perfumes and essences, cores, centers, interiors, hearts and souls and the GUTS of each of these wonderful herbs and spices. THANK YOU ROGER, we here in Cleveland Park appreciate your personal efforts as a person and as an owner to do these things, to take care and pride in them, and to help them flourish for us all to appreciate and enjoy.
